And also, I would like to start off the morning talking about Trilogies..since I decided to go in that direction with the name.
I was between Temple of Doom and Empire as the two best (for second film names)...Empire won. Godfather might have made the list if they were a little more creative in their naming convention. Wrath of Kahn was right there too....but, Star Trek will always finish behind Star Wars.

By the way, if y'all haven't seen it, I did some serious sleuthing last night, and found out all the details of the Red Bull Park project. Found seating numbers, cost, and the architect. Also found some new renderings, take a look.

Godfather 3 had a serious drop off.....one and two were fantastic but, I was left disappointed after three. I have yet to watch LOTR. I will get around to it someday.Best trilogy by far is the Godfather. The plot and storyline is strong for each movie, and to be honest...there's little dropoff from movie to movie. LOTR trilogy was done very well too.
Star Wars (the original 3) I though was the most complete, but the end of Jedi became hokey. I still enjoy it, but too much Ewok can ruin most things.
The Matrix should have never expanded past one movie.
The Indiana Jones Trilogy was excellent, I fear for the 4th, hopefully they can continue.
Lfc, saw the post up top...good work.

Here's the thing with the last Star Wars movie, to me it became too much of a nerd movie. It left me feeling like I needed to go wear glasses, grow out my hair a little bit, put on 15 pounds and wear a shirt that says "I speak Wookie" on it.Godfather 3 had a serious drop off.....one and two were fantastic but, I was left disappointed after three. Lucas really only targeted the Star Wars nerds with it. Jabba the Hut, the semi-romance between Hann and Leah, the amount of Ewok's in the movie...just left a bad taste in my mouth.
Agree with you on the Matrix Trilogy, although Revolutions had a very good ending, really tied things up.

This would be up for a debate and I would win such a debate with this statement: "Star Trek has Shatner."Wrath of Kahn was right there too....but, Star Trek will always finish behind Star Wars.
