On Friday, M.L.S. wrote to the Paraguay federation saying it would not sanction the release of New York Red Bulls attacker Alejandro Gamarra.

Any relation to our midfielder Alejandro Romero?
Could RB decide to release him anyway?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Would be odd if MLS wrote to Paraguay asking not to release Kaku if NYRB were happy for him to go... Nothing is impossible with MLS, but guessing they didn't decide to do this by themselves.

Any player, getting called up by their National Teams, should get the opportunity to represent their National Team. Current pandemic and quarantine rules aside, if Kaku gets called up, he should be allowed to go! I don't want a sulking Kaku again!

So if he gets called up... he would be out for int duty + 2 wk quarantine

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Good for him, hope he kicks ass.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

He has been playing so well for us.
Perhaps he wants to showcase himself.

Good luck in qualifying, Kaku.

Anyone know when he departs? Playing today?

I think we'll be fine with Kaku and Casseres being absent several matches.

How so, when we aren't fine with them here.
