Optimistic that he will be a starter, or that he will be on this continent?

yes

So cart miles before the horses:

4-4-2 Diamond

----------------------Royer----------Barlow-----------------

---------------------------------Kaku---------------------------

--------------------Haksa---------------Clark----------------

---------------------------Yearwood---------------------------

---------Tarek-----Long-----Parker------Duncan---------

With Duncan having freedom to overload the right side and Haksa and Royer switching frequently. Barlow just stretches the defense wide, opening space for Kaku and Clark centrally.

Scouting report on Haks has him as a more attacking player right? I'd almost wonder if Royer becomes a bench player and Haks starts up top.

Or if Struber just decides he doesn't have the personnel for his diamond

Still need a pure goal scorer. I am happy with the aggression though, for sure.

ok - big 4 days - with some transfer assumptions:

---------Royer-------Harper---------

----------------Clark------------------

------Haksa----------Davis---------

-------------Yearwood---------------

--Tarek---Long---Reyes-----Duncan

Duncan can play as a winger at times on offense, with Davis taking some of his defensive cover.

Haksabanovic - White/Barlow (Signing)
Clark
Valot (Signing?)- Yearwood
Davis (Signing)
Pendant (Signing)- Long- Reyes- Duncan
Meara/Jensen

Assuming Haksabanovic is signed. Bring in a Striker, CDM, and LB. Valot and CCJ can fight over the spot opposite of Yearwood unless they want to bring in another CM.

With Parker traded, and Kaku on the way out they have 6 open senior roster spots so plenty of space to make moves.

14 senior spots occupied.

7 supplemental spot occupied.

-----------[Sead] [XXXX]

-----------------Clark

---Casseres Davis Yearwood

--[XXXX] Long Reyes Duncan

----------------Jensen

Meara Tarek Egbo Pendant Royer Valot White Barlow

Lewis Nealis Tolkin Omir [Kaku to be transferred]

I feel like we've got 4 midfielders really well suited for the sides of the diamond (Yearwood, CCJ, Davis, Valot) and nobody well suited for the top or bottom.

Might be cynical but trusting Clark with the starting #10 spot seems risky. Wondergoals aside I don't think he showed much in the way of creating chances for others.

Davis as a #6 isn't even a risk, it's a known disaster. Of the current group I'd rather have Yearwood there, but it'd be tough to waste his ability going forward.

Struber allegedly runs a 4-4-2 diamond and a 3-5-2 of some sort.

As it stands:

-----------Royer Barlow

----------------Clark

----------Valot Yearwood

----------------Davis

--Pendant Long Reyes Duncan

---------------Jensen

Meara Tarek Nealis Egbo Casseres Omir White

Lewis Tolkin

This is excluding Kaku, obvs. 7 supplemental roster players, 13 senior roster players. We can have no more than 10 supplemental roster players, and a minimum of 18 senior roster players, iirc.

It's going to be an exciting fight for 6th in the East.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.
