Seriously, I'm buying a shitload of POPEYE'S LOUISIANA CHICKEN and having some friends over. Anyone in LARS who happens to be in the Valley is welcome. PM for directions/address.

And yes, I have a SAINTS jersey that says MACK on the back. WHO DAT?

This reminds me of Family Guy's version of Star Wars. When the two droids escaped the princess' ship in an escape module, one Empire dude says, "Don't fire... there's no life on it", and the other one turns and says, "What?!? Are we paying by the laser now?"

Seriously, if people are concerned about me starting a New Orleans Saints thread in the "All Sports Forum" of an MLS team's fan group page, especially when I have NEVER started one here before, well, I have one thing to say: GET MORE FIBER IN YOUR DIET.

By the way, did anyone catch that this may lead to me having a cajun food party for LARSers?

tm

lord to i love cajun/creole food. 95% of my relatives are from southern oklahoma / north & west texas but i do have a few relatives from louisana. as i kid i always got a kick out of how they talked and structured their sentences.

IMHO, i don't see how anyone with southern roots cant help but pull for the saints. it is my opinion that new orleans is the unofficial capital of the south . . . the next time my cowboys play in new orleans, i am going to have to get there. i work in simi and regularly eat at this place that serves creole food . . . off the 118 at erringer (sp?). if anyone is in the area, you seriously have to hit it up. the owner is great, he is a true southern gentleman. damn i am going to have to celebrate on monday by eating there.

I AM READY!

As quoted at NOLA.COM, "WHO DAT? NOBODY!"

I grew up in Dallas, and I chose the Saints over my home team in 1992 even when I was still living in Big D. I'm thankful for this exciting game and the fact that my Saints won.
