The Chicago Blackhawks have hit a new low , they let play by play man Pat Foley go, he will not be back. Rumor is that he was forced out.
If this is true , this just proves again that the idiots running this team are a bunch of no class morons. Think about it , what other reason has there been to watch the Hawks since 1998 with only one playoff appearance in the last 8 years? the reason was Pat Foley. Pat could make a meaningless game sound like a playoff game. $ Bill Wirtz has done everthing he can to ruin this team , now this may have just sunk them forever . I have been a Blackhawk fan for 25 years and I am tired of the great players leaving this team in controversy , now add the play by play man to this list.

I grew up on the teams with TonyO, Stan the man, Mags ....and ahhh, yeah, some guy we called the Golden Jet. These last coupla decades have been a disgrace. The best things Hawks fans can do is collectively figure out what they can do to make the team lose so much money Wirtz'll sell.
Or maybe sick Fitzgerald on his ass and put the S.O. B. away where he ought to be. That kind of control of the liquor industry in Illinois is not established without being diirrrrtty.

Oh yes , Tony O ! I came onto the scene as a Blackhawk fan in 1979 and Tony had 3 more years left , his backup at the time was Mike Veisor. The atmosphere in the stadium was something we will never see again.
Bobby Hull getting away cost the Hawks in attendance for years , they however got a big break in 1980 when they drafted Denis Savard and Hockey made a big comeback in Chicago from 1980 to around 1993 , they they started to let guys like Roenick , Chelios , Larmer , and Belfour get away.
The Thing is , there are now Denis Savard type of players around to rescue this team agin.
Ah , the memories.....

I was wondering the same thing . I like Kenn too , but Pat just may be interested in doing to Fire and the Storm in order to stay in Chicago. I still just can not belive that lame brain Wirtz let him go.
Remember his classic call of Bannnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrman did it again in the 1985 playoffs in overtime in Minnesota.

Well you know what...if the Cubs were smart they would kickout Len Kasper and hire Foley. This sucks, 2 great play-by-play men "leave" a Chicago within 7 months. (the first being White Sox radio guy John Rooney, you could say he is the best radio guy in baseball right now)

See this is why Im a Wolves man, not a Hawks fan.

You know , you have a great idea , Foley would be great with the Cubs , I heard him do play by play for the Cubs when he sang the 7th inning stretch and he sounded great..
Even the Sox should think about giving him a chance , we need to keep Foley in Chicago.

This country needs relegation ...

the Hawks would be 3rd division by now. Of course, the Pat Foleys would move nowhere but up.

www.chicagoblackhawks.com has a section where you can e mail them.
I told them that they are about to finally kill off the fan base they have left if they do not re instate Pat Foley.

mwasho@chicago-fire.com

Actually it was Charlie Riley but he got canned.

No offense, Kenn. You can be color man! Leave Kenny Stern at a rest stop along I-80.
