At least they're replicating the first team tactics of blowing two goal leads :)+

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

that was a terrible 2nd half from the reserves.

Jorgensen  is sure not looking like our forward of the future , team looks completely different with Barlow.

He is invisible and when he does gets into space he's more often a better defender for the opposing team rather than a guy who can finish.

The good news is White is doing well at the MLS level and Barlow looks to be finding a comfort level there. Between them and an aging BWP, Jorgensen can either be given time to develop or if he doesn't, the team still has serviceable MLS forwards.

Saramago from the academy/U-23s looks like he could be another B White too.

Agreed on Saramago. Hope they sign him to an HGP rather than hope he passes through the draft and then signed to a NYRBII contract.

Really wish MLS would allow additional roster spots for HGPs, rather than one season-long USL loan.

Next player to develop at striker from the academy is Omar Sowe. Pure raw talent and good size. I think he can easily be the next Jozy.

Saramago's great strike rate with U23s.

Sowe is just a freight train with great touch, mostly right footed no? Is he USMNT-eligible?

Very rarely am I upset or dissapoitned with the team or coaching in a RB2 game; but for this one I was with both.

We absolutely dominated them first half.

Matty Ice looks so off it its just sad; the only thing hes good at is running off the cbs into space problem is he cant finish even if hes into a good spot. His hold up and dribbling is so bad. I dont want to doom a kid cause hes young but this doesnt look salvageable at this point.

Also the subs really messed us up. Epps was killing it as always and taking him off really set us back.

I was disappointed in lowebs space awareness in letting Allen a very known commodity to us get that open.

Overall one of the few times this season you can say that.

Roll on this weekend Home v Tampa should be an excellent game hope we play like we know we can.

Jorgensen seems to be getting the press a bit more. His speed in the press can create goals like that one.

Tolkin with a nice pass behind the defender to slip in Jorgensen for the 2-0.

They need to get the announcer training From the guy at the arena - NYRB2 2 - Tampa Bay ZERO

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Not that this justifies the transfer, but if an 18-year-old homegrown player was putting up 8 goals in 12 games for the USL squad we'd be fucking pumped.
