I think a healthy, in-form Rossi definitely improves this team. Rossi's scored a combined 70+ goals in La Liga and Serie A. I think he'd easily bag double digits in MLS, and brings top league experience with him.

If he's in shape and affordable, I'd see his purpose as a short-term bridge between inexperienced young players and BWP?
But we've been doing the exact opposite of that for years. We've been trading players to make room for young guys.

Rossi is currently training with ManU and apparently is in form and focused on getting another chance to play competitive. Not really a fan of his, but would be willing to give him a shot if he comes over for SWP salary figures.

Dude's 32 and has 15 goals in 73 games over the past 3 seasons. He's coasting on reputation; he wouldn't easily do anything here.

I can't think of a better fit for this team's style of play than a 32 year old with a million leg injuries. Just really screams "gegenpress."

If he can take the pressure off BWP, knock in a few, set up a few, play some D, and stay healthy, he could be our Giovinco.

enough with Rossi. if we have jorgensen inbound, absolutely no need to have Rossi around or offer him a contract.

enough with Rossi.
Why does his name keep getting mentioned?
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I agree with both the above - don't mind it
has Reyna written over it and don't mind if he SWP it for the right $$- good locker room guy that plays a few times.
The guy has been training with the team for 8 months so he is practically part of the team.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.
