I think we may need a change, but am not sure what it is.  I think that the past failures of the 4-2-2-2 was more due to Marsch's implementation than the formation itself.  When we were playing that, we ended up with Sacha essentially being a winger and getting balls to BWP in the corners.

I wonder about:

       Kaku BWP

       Royer Valot

       CCJ   Davis

Taxi Long Parker Murillo

Taxi and Murillo can play a kind of wingback role and Royer/Valot stay more central.  Kaku stays forward and collects balls on the wings while BWP stays central.

Idk, maybe I've been playing too much FM over the holidays.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.
