Is this a troll post?
Yep, one of many, and it's only going to get worse...

Is this a troll post?
Not at all. Just wondering if the eyes are finally open, or if they still want to be friends with ownership. If the latter's the case, it's a fucking joke.
#RedBullOut until the job is done.

personally, haven't been friends with the ownership since March 2006. wasn't a huge fan of the previous owners either, but i'm not the type to be a blind fan anyway.
RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.
RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

Anything organized coming from the groups for the Friday thing? RedBullOut people seem to be doing the SG thing with their finger on the pulse, and I hope the SGs are too.

There's been nothing but silence from the supporters group on this issue, BAU, there should be at least an official comment , setting up a display of unity against red bull outside the meeting anything......

You didn't see this from ESC on 1/7?
In response to inquiries, the ESC Board has issued the following statement in regards to firing of head coach Mike Petke:
The Empire Supporters Club is highly disappointed in today's managerial change by the New York Red Bulls. Mike Petke, a beloved player and coach for this team, won the Supporters' Shield in 2013 and advanced to the conference finals in 2014. He was fired because Ali Curtis felt like it, nothing more, nothing less. If this is Mr. Curtis' idea of connecting or ingratiating himself with the fans, then he either has a very rough time ahead of him, or someone will show mercy on him and make his tenure as sporting director very short.
Mike Petke is the only person to have a lifetime membership with the ESC, and is welcome to join us anywhere at any time. He will be welcomed as a hero, as he should be. Thank you for your service, Mike.

The silence is a bit deafening.
Its interesting how "normal" fans have raised $5k without any SG support.

Did anything happen, at the VA or GSU events this past Saturday night?
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Your right Bill, I missed the statement. But like BeefyT said the SG's aren't organizing anything to protest Petke's firing and didn't get in front when the bill board idea came around .I'm very surprised

ESC has its own membership board.
Something may be happening there.
Supposedly, the billboard is being organized by (an) ESC member(s).
If the OP & RedBullsFC are not part of ESC (or any SG), then they do not need to know what, if anything, Is up, unless & until the SG(s) go(es) public.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Would like to see a strong stance against the FO and the firing decision from the SGs.
