Interesting thing: he was listed at age 18 when he trained in 2015. He is also listed as 18 min the press release today.

Ageless!   :D

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Are you seriously trying to suggest that adding a bunch of new guys to an unfamiliar team in May-July would be just as effective as having them all together for a training camp/preseason plus a full season?

Nope, never meant to imply that I think it's ideal or "as good" to sign players mid season. I just don't think we've had any reason to expect anything else with our CB situation. I'm surprised people are surprised.

It's clear that Baah, Collin and Perinelle will take up our starting CB payroll slots. The team is putting their faith in Baah and Collin, we were always going to sign a CB4 or CB5 and that's what this kid is.

Leap year? I would be worried if they said Feb 30.  Now THAT'S a cover up.

I'm putting my eggs in the Shield basket, the Open Cup basket and the CCL basket, in addition to the MLS Cup/Playoffs basket. and looking at the defense, i'd be worried as well.

lol, i def want to win every competition. I have more faith than most it seems in our current CBs, I think we're going to be fine unless everyone gets injured at once.

Everyone does remember last year right? Where we signed Collin mid season and then won the east?

It's a very common name.  Could have been his 2nd cousin or something last time, I'm sure.

Yeah, ultimately the same thought...

Adi says he's 26 which is complete B.S..  Ndam actually looks close to 18 so maybe that's good.

And, those Italians, too. Anyone else believe that Pirlo isn't anywhere south of 47, let alone 37?

And yeah, Adu has to be, like, 40 now.

One has to hope they did their homework, especially since they have dealt with Rainbow before and there is a public "dossier" on their possible shenanigans.

Regardless, this was not a "big" signing, so I won't lose any sleep over it if it goes bust.

Your point is valid for sure.
