If only someone explains to him that up a goal in injury time, YOU TAKE THE BALL TO THE CORNER.
When that happened my friend turned to me and said "If LA goes and ties this he should never play for this team ever again."

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.
Late to the thread, was at the game but I gotta say White was fantastic in the second half. Not sure he'll ever be a 15 goal a season guy but he plays a similar role to Giroud for France in the last World Cup and he did great today.
Also Etienne was great, should of had a second but they way he basically walked through the LA defense was amazing. He definitely needs to be getting more minutes going forward. Especially if the choice is between him and Jorgensen.
A shame to blow to the lead but it was a good come from behind win. The team stood tall and took it to LA. A win is a win and 3 points at home is so great.

Wished Haitian Messi buried that one, in addition to the GWG.

Doesn't matter that Ibra was off on the 1st pass as it wasn't to him, textbook passive offside.2nd LA goal curious - Ibra offside or no? That it was fine until I saw 1 person comment on ithe is offside on the initial pass in and use this position to his advantage but then is behind the ball when Pontius centers it for his diving header Would be interested to see Instant Replay video on this rule

Ibra was onside on the goal. Pontius was an inch or two offside on the initial ball imo, but I probably would've made the same decision as the ref did on VAR and upheld the goal since there wasn't really conclusive evidence to overturn the call.
Agree completely.Fantastic day.
I find it very annoying that if you are in the stadium the only way to have any clue what is going on with VAR is to text someone at home watching it on TV.
Agree completely.
Every goal seemed to be reviewed with zero announcements by the PA announcer, confusing everyone. It totally broke up the flow of the game.
VAR needs to go if the stupid refs are going to get baited into reviewing every goal because the coaches/teams that concede whine to them about a possible offsides. It's being abused. There's no penalty for whining to the ref, so I'm assuming clubs are going to continue protesting any goal they don't like and dragging the games out.
Great point on homegrown USL projectThe fact that we won with 5 homegrowns and USL project says a lot, but We still looked vulnerable many times and wont be as lucky again as yesterday. The ball that Lade to Raz doesnt happens 99 times out of a hundred as the ball bounced back to him after a poor initial pass. 3rd was a beauty though. Feel like Bingham isnt that great though. DE has to be more clinical also.

5 year plan
Third goal was a really great one yesterday, Etienne's shot capped off a 17 or 18 pass sequence (I lost count a bit watching the replay) that started with Kemar winning the ball back in his area and Royer getting the assist from the right corner.
It's the first time in awhile I can remember them scoring a goal built around possession soccer like that.
