"They better keep playing that RB Arena update because that unbuilt stadium is the only positive thing about this soft-drink-selling, coached-by-a-dumbass, trading-good-players-for-shit, hopeless, retarded, club." - MetroFanatic
"It was always six weeks away. Every month, [Nick Sakiewicz] would say, we're six weeks away from the stadium. It's been the longest six weeks of my life." - Mike Petke
"I think every country can learn everything about each other. If the whole world can be together, it can be good." - Mathias Jorgensen
"I want to give you lots of titles for your happiness. Lots of hugs.” - Fabio
Messi to Miami next summer. He's going to have to up his pickleball game
Marc de Grandpre praying that the Miami game is scheduled for later in the year. Gotta justify your employment somehow.
RED. BULL. OUT.

Been rumored for months now, although more reputable sources seem to be piling on. Not sure Messi will be any less recognizable in Miami than elsewhere like Titi was able to enjoy here, but good luck to him! I'm excited to have him in the league.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
So, we sign Cristiano Ronaldo!

The NY Post has a World Cup reporter?
Not mentioned here: https://glenncrookssoccer.com/
Meanwhile, the CR7 rumor has legs:

Wow. Sure, CR is already generationally wealthy but how do you say no to money that is probably 10x your current market value and doubles your net worth in 3 years (just guessing on both)?!
Excited if this happens. A lot of players already want to come to MLS. I know we hate the retirement league reputation, but maybe Messi has a good experience and convinces other young players to come and not just older stars like himself? If young Argentine/Brazilian players think MLS is the league they want to be a part of at a young age, a league to grow, gain experience and get noticed from Europe, I think that's beneficial.
The reputation is just that. How many "retirement" players have joined MLS recently? Bale and Chielini, sure, but the days of Lampard and Pirlo look to be behind.
Hell, for Metro, we haven't signed anyone from Europe over 30 since SWP.

Higuain?
And Insigne is 31, so maybe not quite "retirement" age yet, but getting there.
edit: Shaquiri is 31 also.
