"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

Remember that run by Dane very well, biggest surprise result of my metro experience. Any other upsets come to mind?

Sometimes I think the entire Red Bull existence has been some 19 year old kids football manager save file he only plays when he comes home drunk. - 'Mibabalou'

It's always nice for me to be able to flashback to my favorite all time Metro: Dane Richards.

What   player. Probably the most consistent player we've ever had (minus this game you linked to).

Make a Roy Miller post next Jay!

My favorite minute of Metro/RB fandom is after Woly scores the tying goal in MLS Cup that year.

Literally, as Cbus retook the lead in a minute ...

Thing I just learned: Dane's middle name is actually "O'Brian", not "Party".

"They better keep playing that RB Arena update because that unbuilt stadium is the only positive thing about this soft-drink-selling, coached-by-a-dumbass, trading-good-players-for-shit, hopeless, retarded, club." - MetroFanatic

"It was always six weeks away. Every month, [Nick Sakiewicz] would say, we're six weeks away from the stadium. It's been the longest six weeks of my life." - Mike Petke

good old dane. all the more frustrating cause he was capable of shit like that, but then 73% of his crosses would go out for throw ins on the other end of the field. then again, that was kinda the standard for mls at the time.

Best post game party ever! Made us forget about the loss until the cops tolled in.. I still have the helmet LARS gifted me afterwards.

Its not a party until the police 🚔 arrive!
Sheriffs actually. After watching the jousting,
lucky they did not go medieval on our asses.
IIRC, all detainees were released, once it was determined ESC & LARS were not acronyms for street gangs!

Sigh.  Nostalgia.  if we could just get back football logos on the field, and only being able to watch the game broadcasted by indifferent spanish-speaking announcers.
