makes all the sense in the world to bring in Ronaldo.  they can't be happy with so many empty seats.

I dont know how much it would cost and if youd get the money back from ticket sales, but he would pack the stadium AND he would score a an insane amount. I think theres a valid concern about players not trying in MLS, but Id put Ronaldo in the Henry category of guys that will never stop competing.

Hed also break the jersey sales record.

Juve sold $60M Ronaldo jerseys in one day. Whatever he would cost, youd prob make your money back and a lot more. And hed probably actually get people to drink Red Bull

2 years 25 M per year if I signs is getting 14m
He would sell a ton of jerseys and drinks
Every game sell out as people love and love to hate him

Next to no chance but if Im him and Messi goes to Miami the Ronaldo rivalry continues and maybe Ronaldo can negotiate a cut of a team in Las Vegas

Also He can sub on for Barlow after he tires out the defense 😉

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Teams make a fraction of the jersey sales price, and he would obviously sell way fewer RB jerseys than he did at Juve or Real, etc. Far from a guarantee that the team would make its money back (I'd argue it's a certain loss actually), and of course he'd never come here anyway.

P.s. on drinking Red Bull - doubt it! He tanked Coke stock at the Euro last year. https://www.espn.com...ce-fall-by-$4bn

That was the first day though! Its hard to judge his impact. Hes a different level of star than guys like Beckham, Ibrahim, or even Henry.

I forgot about the Coke incident.

Choupo-Motang as DP. Especially if Bayern sign Harry Kane over the winter. Get ourselves a proven number 9.

Yeah he might not lunge at the opportunity to promote energy drinks just by signing on here.

i think something like this is best case we can hope for.  Something a tad more realistic would be Yossef Poulsen from RBL if after this season they shake up the roster because they weren't close to challenging for the title.

He has scored double-digit goals in a league season twice, and not since 2014.

Phenomenal meme player, but I'd burn down RBA if we signed him as a DP.

For Klimala + Jorgensen $ we could have had him.  We are inexplicably terrible at this.
