Wouldn't be surprised if this was part of the reason Marsch's leash was so short after the window.  Shows a lack of judgment on the part of Marsch,

If Armas was the straw the broke the camel's back, he probably would have been part of the group that just got tossed.

I don't think you need to look any further than results. Marsch isn't known as a problematic manager, from everything I've read he's successfully implemented the style he wants at Leeds, but ultimately they've found themselves in a relegation battle.

Need to try to find a way to block the upcoming discourse around Marsch and the USMNT from my social media feeds...

Now Im reading Armas likely to be caretaker manager if Leeds cant hire someone in the next couple of days. Assumed he would have been fired along with Marsch.

Seems about as likely as that  $4M offer we supposedly had and turned down for Klimala

I'm curious to see how this affects the playing time for the Americans there.  Adams has looked very good and deserves a lot of time.  Aaronson has looked good at times but produced very few goals and assists, the next manager might not be as inclined to start him.  They've got a lot of offensive players, so Aaronson might find himself buried on the depth chart.   McKennie just got there, but he's going to have to fight for playing time.

Armas as the interim coach? That is objectively hilarious.

If Armas ends up head coaching in the premier league I swear to God the universe is a simulation.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Of course, a manager is not going to be fired bc of choice of asst coaches. 100% fired bc he hasnt won in months. Im sure Armas will be out when they hire a new coach. For not now, Leeds need somebody to stand on the touch line during matches and hes there.

If hes the interim manager its insane how he continues to fail upward.

I agree with you....

I once heard a pundit's critique of Marsch was that he did implent a style but in the Premier clubs need to adapt to their rival and managers throughout the season catch on to what rivals do....he couldn't field the same tactics always or Leeds would get figured out and exposed...

Which reminds me of the trouble Metro had when teams bunkered down against Metro...(maybe that was Armas, I have a foggy memory)

When the press isn't needed or is beat can Marsch switch tactics mid match?
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

The marsch fire was the most idiotic thing ever. You just spent soo much money to fit the vision marsch laid out and now you fire him? Speechless.

Leeds does not deserve him.

I agree the Marsch didn't deserve to get fired.  The team rarely gets outplayed and the effort is clearly there, they just make individual mistakes and don't have enough talent in the final third.  That said, I don't think they bought anyone over the summer or this last window that only fits Marsch's vision.  McKennie as an example didn't play in a high press at Juve.

But I can see mckennie fitting in a press system. In juve, they had him more on the wing and he didnt participate in the build up as much

Agree, Im just saying its not like McKennie only fits in a pressing system. Sure I think hes work well under Marsch, but hell also be good in whatever style the next coach plays. My point is hes not strictly a Marsch buy/loan.
