For the first time in probably six years, I am making plans simply to watch a Hawks game on TV this Friday night. :)

I was so pumped to hear Foley is gonna be back. A few summers ago I played in a 16 inch softball league and he was on my team. He's a true class act, also pretty speedy believe it or not. At the end of games he used to start announcing the play, it was great.

vs. Rangers

We sucked going through the neutral zone. That left-wing lock that New York plays with their speedy and physical players did not play to our favor. On the bright side, Brian Campbell made an excellent bank pass off the side of the net for Kane's goal.

vs. Caps

These guys HIT. We were getting killed by Steckel's line which basically cycled the puck and banged and crashed on the boards all game. That second period was awful. The Hawks have gotta step it up against Nashville, who's coming off a loss, so we gotta be brilliant all game, and hit their young defensemen. I foresee our third line getting a lot of ice time.

I can't wait for the game tonight. I have never been to a home opener outside the Fire. A full UC is gonna be rockin' tonight. And lets get a f'n win allready.
