oh well, everyone on that field knows who was the better team.

Didn't you guys get your asses kicked by ASU and Stanford? Is the first class they teach at USC Denial 101?very cool, now i can reserve the weekend for when USC wins the Pac12 conference championship against oregon . . . again. oh wait, i forgot . . . when we spanked the oregon this year they were still awarded the championship by NCAA rules.

Seriously, about five years ago I had to sit in on a USC Masters degree course. What a bunch of shit. Academically, the school is embarrassing.

young teams choke early in the year, the squad that lost to ASU is not the same team that kicked oregon's ass. so you are saying that USC tooling oregon like their bitch doesn't make them the better squad of the two?Didn't you guys get your asses kicked by ASU and Stanford? Is the first class they teach at USC Denial 101?
Seriously, about five years ago I had to sit in on a USC Masters degree course. What a bunch of shit. Academically, the school is embarrassing.
regarding what coursework you took . . . not sure what you were studying but look at the rankings friend, i sure as hell don't see oregon better than USC in anything. maybe i am wrong on the 'anything' claim, as i haven't checked every ranking out there, but i can say i have never seen a single ranking that puts oregon in the same class as USC academically. in fact, when i graduated from USC our accounting program was #2 in the country and has never dropped from the top 5 since the late 70's. simply put, since dr sample came to the university in the 90's changes were made at USC, yet ignorant people choose to instead look past factual data (incoming freshman class rankings, entrance scores, program rankings, etc) and just pull the "spoiled children" BS.
feel free to live in the past, but whatever you say about USC know we own oregon both academically and on the playing field. bottom line, when we are in the spotlight, we step up. remind me of oregon's football record when it counts. wasn't this THE FIRST TIME your savior of a coach won a bowl game? i also seem to recall that this was the first time oregon won the rose bowl since world war I. isn't this also your first BCS bowl victory in 7 tries?
those are hardly stats of a school that one should sit back and brag on while bashing a school like USC. when i was at USC (94 - 97), our football program sucked . . . in fact 1991 - 2001 was arguably the worst 10 year stretch for USC football in its history, yet we won a rose bowl. simply put, our worst decade equals oregon's last centrury . . . and you are bashing USC?
when it comes to the Pac12, we are the only true football power . . . and until you guys grow a set and learn how to win when it counts, you are not in our league. I really enjoyed the win this year and ruining your season, and i am 100% sure i will be telling you the same thing come december 2012
truth sometimes hurts, but you start bashing USC like a bitter ex GF dropped for the new hottie, and you can bet i will not stand there and take it.

His backup is said to be better. I know dirtboy likes the now starter more than Thomas.

Hoping this isn't true, because I don't want Oregon supporters to have an excuse when we AGAIN hand them their ass in 2012.
But at least the 'super coach' chip can claim one big game victory.

edit:
I smell blood in the water. Just waiting to see how little the NCAA does to Oregon (compared to USC). IMO, if the allegations in this article are true, this is 100x worse than what happened at USC. With that in mind, it means the NCAA will likely give Oregon half the penalties they laid down on USC.

I definitely like the hosted games idea. It worked for the Pac-12 game this year. It worked for MLS Cup.

I wish Cal had the dough to pay him...
Maybe in another 10 years, Cal will threaten to win the league again.
Until then, GO Bears!

The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.
