Tolkin to Anderlecht?

No problem. We have plenty of depth at the position.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I was skeptical Tolkin had a Euro career ahead of him but he's played well enough this season to warrant some interest. Red Bull should really wait until the winter to sell though. His stock is only going to go up and the team really needs him.

Dont see this happening until post season
If there is interest it should only be greater

Leeds need a left back - just kidding
He needs to step to an interim level but I haa add be faith he can step it up

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Agreed, this is probably end of the year move. Our FO cannot be that dumb. Can it?

I was always hoping Tolkin would fly under the radar because even though he's great, he's limited athletically.  Even though he's limited athletically, he plays to the maximum of that ability and that results in him being as good as he is.

I hope we never lose Tolkin.

Feel like Tolkin fits the MLS->RBS->$$$$ route ala Adams and Aaronson as opposed to flipping early.

Edit: maybe I think too highly of him though

The European rumors were inevitable like 5 games into this season. Really only a matter of whether we can hang on for 12-18 more months after this season or whether he's gone in January. He's that good.

Belgium, Portuguese top 3 could be a great starting point for him.

Sale and loan back through MLS season end?

Somehow RedBull would botch that and we would lose him to another MLS Team via Allocation Order.

Sale and loan back through MLS season end?

I could see that happening.  The Belgian season has already started, so it would likely take him awhile to get on the field even if he went  over there today.

With the WC break in November, they could loan him back to RBNY to the end of the MLS season and then get him in for whatever training camp they will be having before their season resumes in January.
