Gotta bring this back up to the top.

So yeah it was Tigres second team, even Jonathan Bornstein got to play, but those were three great goals to put Seattle through, and a win's a win.  So America's Greatest Soccer fans will see their team in the semis against Houston or Santos.

We'll get Monterrey if we handle our business tomorrow.

My dream is alive - the G's can still go through and defeat Seattle on their field and send America's Greatest Soccer Fans home sad.  Again.  I hope it rains...

Tigres suffered a send off. I wasn't too hopeful but, I was kinda happy Seattle was able to do something with it. EJ's goal probably should have been covered near post but oh well. Adiós Tigres.

I can honestly say that I almost forgot about Jonathan Bornstein until last night...

I'm sure Honduras still loves him.

Santos Laguna beat the snot out of Houston, so they get Seattle next.

In the 2nd leg of the final, Monterey went down 2-0 to Santos.  They came roaring back to win it 4-2.  Champs for the 3rd time.
