It feels like they are done signing players.

Thelwell has gone MIA, Hamlett is siting around doing nothing and Armas has started his rah-rah routine with the current group.

I dont think Thelwell has even joined the club yet! The announcement stated end of the month. Probably getting his and his familys things in order before moving them to a new continent and country.

BWP is a club legend but his best days are behind him. I predict he scores 2 goals this season coming off the bench in LA.

I predict 4 in total, 2 in league play, 2 in Champions League/Open Cup play.

In Topic: Hamlett gets a new boss: Kevin Thelwell, Head of Sport

From Wolverhampton's local paper, The Express and Star, on February 3rd when the hiring was announced:

"Wolves have confirmed that sporting director Kevin Thelwell will join MLS side New York Red Bulls at the end of this month."

I don't think Thelwell has started with the club. I doubt he is even in the States yet, and if he is, he's apartment hunting.

Get a god damn bus from certain points in BK / queens / Manhattan so its not a fucking disaster getting to and from stadium.

Every single time i bring someone we have a blast but they don't like coming again cause its a joke how long it takes.

thats my 2 cents

Yup. Try LIRR to NJT to PATH or walk. It's like a saga getting from Long Island to RBA. I would love to be able to drive, but wouldn't dare. At least you can have a few beers on the train.

In Topic: Sean Davis is 26 years old

Wow... thinking about Davis being 27...  gotta assume he'd be light years better at this point if he didn't waste 4 years development in college.   I still think he has upside, and last year was a step in the wrong direction for him, almost certainly due to Armas.    He came along right at the turning point, before guys like Miazga blazed the trail (not that Miazga was likely choosing between MLS and Duke).  I have this unlikely scenario in my head where he steps up and turns into our Jordan Henderson.

He may have wasted four years of development in college, but lets face it, he was never going to be Pirlo or De Bruyne. Hes a professional soccer player who will have a 10 year career in MLS. Earning a degree from Duke seems like the smarter play in my opinion. I bet he makes more money in his lifetime with that than he ever does in football. Who knows?
