This is how a true team with ambition is run....Atlanta United already replaces Pity with another DP from Argentina:

https://www.mlssocce...signated-player

Pity was a flop, Barco needs to be flipped before his value depreciates even more.

Buying indiscriminately isnt ambitious, neither is what RBNY have done recently, but Id rather buy with a plan and purpose than throwing 11 randos on the field and hoping it works out.

Ask Barca fans about their recent recruitment strategy.

NY FO has no plan... Last meaningful signing was Kaku....there was no plan...

Now with new the guy in the FO let's see...

I'd love to see them poach a young talented under 23 player that has stood out in Copa libertadores or Liga MX or at limited time even at a lesser known European club.... Someone with pace and high work rate but that can create a scoring chance and finish...

Or even a well known established guy that maybe isn't in his prime but an upgrade over what the current roster have...

RBS signs Brendan Aaronson who is loaned to us......

https://www.mlssocce...ladelphia-union

somehow I think that transfer would have a rider.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

If he got loaned back to MLS, he'd go through the allocation system.

What I find inconsistent about RB GmbH is that they really do pursue excellence in sport, except where we are concerned. A recent example was the US Open Tennis tournament in Queens. The winner for the Men's side was Dominic Thiem, an Austrian and a Red Bull athlete.  See the sleeve in the picture:

agree I think that we were an exception but with Theiwell hiring they are looking to change that (we hope)

I doubt RB GmbH sees it that way. NY won three Shields in six seasons and went to an Open Cup final. 2019 saw the window closing on that era, and 2020 saw the hiring of Thelwell. COVID obviously contributed to this wrecked season, but in my view Thelwell is being handed the reins to rebuild NY from bottom (academy) to top (1st team). Biggest question is will global open up the wallet for him?

When do we start looking for GKs?

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Former academy standout player and NYRBII outside back, Noah Powder, signs with RSL for next year. Has been with their USL team a few years now.

Starting to see a few guys that started with NYRBII improving enough to get looks with MLS teams.

Wonder what happened that he left after 2017 as he played a decebt amount during 2016 when he was in high school
Maybe he though he should be MLS but still needed development ? Not sure

this right here..... Gifts Morgan two shots on goal that Morgan luckily for us shanks... Doesn't come out to attack a slow lob that González wastes....

Jensen looks awful...

Geovanni Banguera would be affordable and realistic upgrade with little to no transfer fee and less than DP wage...

RBNY should get Soto.

that is why a successful loan deal for Sims and making EPL squad would have been so great.

Soto can play but I think he locked in to making it in EU.

More loans like that would be great - having Theiwell with lots of connections helps make these happen.

Free transfer to Norwich, but signed a 3-year deal.
Anyone know for how much?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
