Given what happened in the playoffs.. yes it was success.
No MLS team can survive in the playoffs when you lose all your best players to injuries.
It was crappy luck that it happened since this team is built to beat the top MLS teams.
To me, our record at home in 2019 demonstrates that the season was a failure. We NEVER used to lose at RBA. I think we had the best home record in MLS between 2010-2018. The drop-off in home form was something else And we've done nothing of substance to improve last year's roster. You can pin your hopes on Stroud and Lema and Tolkin (all of whom I hope play well), but other teams are signing bona fide stars.
I want to be wrong, mind you. But your rose-colored lenses are something to behold.
