Who knows if boxing will be around since MMA is taking over. No point in making a year specific boxing thread either.

Pacquiao v Mayweather needs to happen! Stop the bullshitting! Get in the ring and be the crap out of each other already!

Roach brought up how Mayweather is a "big fight" dodger today when he was on ESPN. He laughed at the notion of Mayweather being willing to fight the winner of the Mosley v. Berto fight. And of course if that happened his legacy would appear that he dodges the "big fighters". I'd like him to go away looking like a bitch...or with Pacquio beating his ass...either option would make me happy.

I say it goes the distance too. I fucking hate watching Mayweather dance around the ring for 12 rounds. Fuck Mayweather. There was a bit of fear in his eyes at the press conference scuffle when Shane grabbed his hands. If, and this is a big if, Shane can get to Mayweather; I think Shane can knock him the fuck out. I hope for a Shane win but it'll probably be a UD for Mayweather.

From the people I asked who they are rooting for, it's split half for Mayweather and half for Mosley. I think Mayweather's "defense" is too good for Mosley to cause damage.

I don't see Mosley having a chance. I'm growing tired of boxing, but I just found some feeds on Veetle so I'll watch.

I can't stand Mayweather. I hope he gets his ass beat, but I think this fight is way over-hyped and he'll win easily.

i think it is over hyped just like Pacquiao's last fight was and that was a snoozer. Plus, Mosley is too old.

can you post your link. the ones i find keep getting end up being blocked due to copyright crap.

Here you go:

At this point I think all boxing fights are over hyped.

LOLZ. If you would have said that 7 years ago I would have agreed with you but as of now all of MMA's stars are gone and it's in the same boat as boxing.

I don't think Pacquiao's last fight was that hyped. It was obviously just a payoff for all the training he did and he fought someone way below his league. I like Clottey but he isn't a contender when matched with Pacman.

I just feel bad for anyone who made the decision to miss last nights game to watch that fight. You guys know how Floyd works.

Miss the G's game to watch the fight? Losers. And yes, MMA is taking over. People love GSP and love to hate Cock Lesnar. Once the heavyweight division has a marketable U.S. champ, boxing will be important again.
