Is there any in this rout with authority to treat with me? Or indeed with wit to understand me?

No surprise there. The surprise is that Grant implies he may play another year elsewhere. Can't imagine that's true.

I could see it.
Player-coach or just as a player for the prestige aspect. Maybe Arsenal signs him for a short deal until the end of the 2014-2015 season like PSG did with Beckham.

Yeah don't know where he would like to go. Back to Arsenal? That will be more symbolic than anything.
Somewhere like Australia or Brazil? I just don't see that happening.

I think Wenger would bring him back for one more year for a farewell tour.

I'd put money on him being at NYCFC next year. Don't think Arsenal would bring him back in a player-coach capacity a la Drogba; the Premier League is above his ability at this point.

He can get signed and just hang around and get the occasional run out. Obviously they aren't gonna sign him to get a forward to challenge Chelsea for the title. It's more ceremonial than anything.
And as far as putting money on him being at NYCFC, save your money.

I wonder if Arsenal would hire him as a player/coach a la Chelsea and Drogba. (if he's even interested in coaching)

Well at least I know I am definitely going to the last 3 home games this season.
As for Arsenal, I mean, they compete for 3 trophies every season with the FA Cup, EPL and CL . . . they really cant afford to just waste a spot on the 18 active players for sentimental reasons . . . if anything he might sign a one match contract with them . . .
EDIT: misleading thread title, I thought it was confirmed by Henry . . . let's wait until that happens . . . SMH

The only person who knows if Henry is coming back is Henry, everyone else is reading tea leaves. I learned my lesson from the saga of LeBron part deux.

Not shocked... He's going back to Arsenal, IMHO.

He wouldn't have to make the 18 every match...
