No PATH service to/from WTC for 2019, 2020 seasons

This is going to decimate attendance for those who are coming from the city.

The club needs to step in and provide some kind of express bus service from Manhattan to the games. Or something.

Robles looked like a fool

Looked like an absolute fool last fall in the way he handled the Giovinco free kick.

Tonight, stood there frozen as Medunjanin belted a ball in from very far out.

Is there trouble brewing here? He is 5th this season in the league in GAA, so his stats look fine -- yet...the brain farts are starting to become more frequent.

Dominik Kaiser could imagine

Being linked now to RB Leipzig captain and CM Dominik Kaiser, 29 years old, who has fallen out of favor with them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kaiser is brought in as a moneyball signing and this Gamarra deal falls through.

It makes perfect sense. Kaiser in, Lawrence out and that is the end of our business in this window. Back to moneyball.

Rumors of BWP's demise exaggerated?

03 January 2018 - 10:52 AM

With Kljestan officially gone, there has been a lot of chatter on here that BWP is the next member of the recent core (BWP, Sacha, Dax, Robles) that has to go, as he will be washed up very soon.

Is there any evidence to support this though?

With Kljestan we all saw how he lost a step last year, but forwards don't have to run as much and MLS has had a history of aging forwards winning the golden boot or being in the top 5 in the scoring charts.

De Rosario, Henry (2011)
Henry, Keane (2012)
Di Vaio, Keane (2013)
Keane (2014)
Keane, Villa (2015)
Villa (2016)
Villa (2017)

BWP has scored around 20 goals a season for the last four years. I don't see why he couldn't stay here for another 3-4 years and play until he's 36 or 37, or even older. You don't need to be young to excel (or score, as the stats show) in MLS.
