I'm worried about our D without without Coach Walker. But, personnel-wise our strength is still on defense. Coach Chow says Prince "has it, but it's gonna take time." Which means "not this year.". I still think we qualify for a bowl game after BEATING 'SC. The home opener should be Rad. Next to the Riot Squad, there's nothing like being amongst 50,000 Bruin fans.
JAJAJAJAJAJAJA
1) beating SC? yeah right . . . short of injuries that cost USC their entire first team offense and defense, ain't no way this is happening
2) bowl game qualification? meh. you will be lucky to be bowl eligible, and considering how shitty your school travels . . . don't look for bowls trying to book your school
3) are there even 50k UCLA football fans in LA?
with walker no longer on the coaching staff, the only good thing UCLA had is now gone. i openly admit that i am not a big follower of UCLA football, but i didn't realize he departed until reading this post. i am a little surprised this didn't make a bigger splash in the papers.
bruin fans you better enjoy your 'gimmie' games, as this is going to be a long season. AGAIN
btw, the only way UCLA
might get 50k people at its opener is due to the fact that san diego state doesn't travel well. everyone knows that UCLA fans will sell their tickets if the opportunity presents itself. but, i still don't see it happening because SDSU's team isn't that hot this year.
I think it will be "closer then the experts think". Looks like we have the same style team as the last few years, strong on the D side and need to figure it out on the O side.
closer than the experts think? dude you realize you are opening up against a shitty san diego state team, right?
man it will be nice when the bruin fans quit posting in this forum . . . you guys need to stick to basketball. (most) bruin fans talking football is like me talking college basketball. i don't doubt your love for the school, but please do the community a favor and do your homework first.
