Thank you Dan...even if red bull erases our history, we will still have our reminder right here.At this point, I still have no idea what will happen with MF. Anything from closing it to carrying it on to various scenarios in-between are possible. One thing I know, the site will never be rebranded. It will stay MF.

I concur. This site means as much to me as the team on the field, and if Red Bull gets its way, this site will mean more than the badge on the shirt. Please do not close Metrofanatic. It's an important place for all Metrostars supporters to gather and remenince. No matter what hapens.

It made me a metrostar fan.
I was a follower of the team but because of this sites news and messageboard i finally had a source for my team and way to rant and be a real fan.
And i know im not the only one and for that alone it should stay.
Also if the team becomes the New York Red Bulls or anything like that a reminder needs to be around that at one time the metrostars did exsist.

even if MF isnt updated anymore, it should def. remain so that some sort of history remains

oh, never mind!
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

This is the only place to get news about our team, whatever it may eventually be called and it has made a wierd sort of community amongst those of us who find ourselves checking here multiple times a day.
And since I haven't said this before...thank you for all of your past work.

but please dont close down the site. forums like this make u feel that much closer to the team. (and this is the best site that ive seen for any team.) and wouldnt keeping this site up be the best way of keeping the metro history alive?
