but with Amando, he had to go to Tijuana first before coming back and signing for RB2.

He came back as a first team signing before being cut in preseason and signing with the USL team.

Sowe is a gem that we cant sign as a HGP due to the number of years he was with the academy.

I'd cut Nuhu, not sure on Silva.

Keep Kilwein and Loebe. Take or leave Rito. Up in the air on Scarlett as I think he's a good team guy even if never a first teamer, I'd take whatever Woly decides with him. Cut Boateng unless there is something we all don't know. Cut McSherry and Yanes. Sign Tolkin to a II or first team deal.

Keep Lema and Zejec. Bring Koffi and Mines back on II contracts, though I can see Koffi keeping his place as a depth first teamer. Stroud is in the Tinari spot, so I can see him leaving or getting promoted.

Absolutely keep Sowe but cut Elney and Amarildo

In terms of reinforcements, obviously the draft picks but hopefully an academy kid or two. I could see Dantouma Toure taking the Adams path. Also have Saramago, Sharifi, Gilbey, Minchagos, and Teixeira graduating. Not sure where they stand on the draft radar but they could all probably do a job for II, especially Saramago.

Sowe was in the academy for just a short time. to qualify as a HG, you have to spend XX amount of months in the academy. so they signed him to RB2. Should prob stay with the reserves for the 1st half of their season. Sign him to the 1st team if he's REALLY scoring in bunches in the 1st dozen or so reserve games. in the mean time, there's still White Barlow and Jorgen$en.

Scarlett has managed to play another yr with the reserves, do they promote him, keep him at RB2 or move on? Do they keep or move on from Kilwein?

All good names.
Some other academy alum that may land in USL after graduating this year: Perno, Deeds, Carter, Bounthong, Harr, Reedy, and Lochner (grad student).

Dantouma will be 16 next yr, will he get playing time with the U23s or RB2 like Sowe and Tolkin did respectively?

So Sowe is signed as just a regular USL player? And these months arent counting towards him being in the Academy?

he's not an amateur anymore once he's signed the pro contract with the reserve squad.

Dantouma Toure, OTOH, has been in the academy for ~2yrs, maybe? he'd qualify for an HG contract, iirc.

Jared Stroud named to the USL All-League First Team. Chris Lema named to the second team.

Former NYRBII winger Junior Flemmings didn't make either team even with 16G,7A for Phoenix.
Hard to argue the selections over him. His teammates Soloman Asante had 22G,17A and Adam Jahn had 17G,5A and both earned first team honors. Daniel Rios was the other selection with 21G,2A. All deserving.
The second team was Sebastian Guenzatti with 18G,6A, former Red Bull Corey Hertzog with 19G,6A and Neco Brett with 17G,5A.

To be fair, Backe had the exact opposite approach to playing young players than the current regime has.

He has played for 10 teams in his career:

Still has RB as his wiki photo.
Has he made any decent money in his career?
