How many coaches in the world would take it this personal?

Getting fired by this team?

One.

Exactly one coach in the world.

That awkward moment when more people are listening to SeeingRedNY live than show up in stadium for New York Red Bulls home games.

#RedBullOut

Really is crazy. It would be amazing to see what a team with a real identity would do in our current stadium.

Amazing parallel universe where this team was run properly from day 1, and NY was the original Seattle 15 years before Seattle even got into the league.

Improbable, but not impossible. Enough people here care. They just gave up.

They tweeted it and mentioned it several times during the podcast.

We have the numbers.

Actually what strikes me as improbable was that it didn't happen.  From 2010 on at least, they were the only game in town, in a jewel of a stadium, in a cosmopolitan market with 20 MILLION people, with THIERRY HENRY.  And they can't fill the stadium.  It was like shooting fish in a barrel.

Add to that the FACT that they are a marketing company and it gets even more weird.

Well, yeah, but they are geniuses at marketing a lifestyle based energy drink.

They aren't geniuses at marketing a sports franchise.

Also, they spend $ 1B a year marketing said drink (of which we are an expense). They do not spend very much at all actually marketing our team. They "put the dollars on the field" in terms of RM4, TH14, TC17, but...none of the social media/word of mouth promotion gets devoted to the team.

It's in a bar.

On 14th street.

At 2 am.

Selling a $ 1 can to ravers for $ 7.

We as fans in this metropolitan area haven't fully supported the team despite Petke and Henry, lets be real.

You do realize it's the bar selling it at $7 (for a product they bought for 50cents a can)
