You seriously expected it to be higher? This franchise is an afterthought in the area even when nothing else is competing with it.

im sure it didnt help that the match was competing with USA vs El Salvador, especially since there is overlap between those crowds

Stop making excuses. People just dont care enough to come out.

And with how they play, can you blame them??

Pathetic attendance, crappy atmosphere (and I'm not talking about the supporters sections) - all played in an absolute shitbox of a stadium. Not a thing done differently for opening day than is done at any other game of the year. You could tell from their amateur videos and ridiculous street team BS that they just don't give a damn about marketing this club until they move to RB Arena.

They aren't going to market it then either, other than what appears on the shelf at your local supermarket or corner store. And the really funny thing is that panic is beginning to creep into the FO and next year ain't even here yet.

wow...just wow. it couldn't have been the constant threat of rain all weekend long that turned people away for the opener. Also i agree that the FO could give a shit about anything after all its not all their money tied up in a stadium for next year. you people drive me nuts.

The FO ain't sweating the money-making potential of the new venue, afterall it will see more action in it's first year of existance than the hookers and crack dealers it displaced. It's just going to look kinda funny that the main reason for it's existance will be the smallest draw of all.

Who fucking cares. As long as you go out and support our team, that's all that should matter. 101 was packed and crazy.

It's not a sustainable business. That's why should care, if you truly care about the 'club'.
