What the hell happened to this guy? Coming into the season everyone was saying he was the most likely rookie to be slotted into the lineup and get significant minutes. Davis, Lawrence, Abang and Sanchez are all above him in the pecking order. Pretty disappointed.

He's an 8. Felipe and Kljestan are ahead of him on the roster. Now he's competing with Davis for minutes and Davis is just... better.

Stolz has been having good matches with NYRB II though. I think he'll be good next season.

Is there any in this rout with authority to treat with me? Or indeed with wit to understand me?

If he doesn't get minutes this weekend its odd - 6th game in 18 days says play some reserves.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Sean's been doing a good job filling in and giving these guys rest, and its not like he should be tired.   In the old says, USOC is where we would have seen him, but taking these games seriously changes that.

This is where the USL is already showing its worth too, previous years the USOC would have been one of the few shots at a competitive game.

He had a respectable career here and in Toronto.  Better than some of our recent draft picks, that's for sure!

He was great in that TV commercial the year RBA opened.

I used to have a couple of funny things here but I can no longer find them.

Stolz did not look good for the first few games with RBNYII. Since then, he has really picked it up. I think he makes an impact next season.

Got hit with the "face of the franchise" curse.     As soon as they plastered Steele's face over everthing, he was gone, too.  Then it was Connor Lade, who quickly vanished from the field

Some good stuff in there.

2 things I learned.

1. As Marsch insinuated at the town hall, Stolz is here because of him.

2. Marsch sees Stolz in that position next to Dax.   I figured he'd like him further up the field, but it looks like he wants him in that spot Felipe is basically playing.  Tough when it comes to depth because I figured Davis for that position as well.

I guess that's the story they'll go with. The reality is, the kid only wanted to live in two places. He's definitely taking advantage of the lifestyle here...

As one player on the team said last night, "Stoltz cares more about living in NYC than playing soccer."

There was talk even before he left college that he didn't have the passion to play much longer.

Then what was the purpose of drafting him? Seems like the draft pick ends up wasted on a kid that will just flame out...

They said after his junior(?) year he was thinking of calling it quits. Add that to the fact that he only wanted to play in Germany or New York and what was said last night by a player on the team as previously posted and finally sprinkle in the fact that he hasn't seen any first team minutes (albeit we have Felipe, Dax, Sacha, and Davis) and it seems that he may not be giving 110%.
