Klinsmann ends brief stay at Hertha.
Had not coached since the USMNT debacle:

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

And again points the finger at literally anybody but himself.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Well, the consensus is that the run in 2006 was because Low was on the bench providing some tactical smarts.

He did a good job of turning over the team and giving the next generation a shot.  Low was his assistant coach on that squad and there's a decent amount of evidence (read Das Reboot for more info) that he was doing a lot of coaching, including being mostly, if not entirely, in charge of tactics.

Edit:  See above post.

Further proof that hes not a good coach.

Hes a huge name, and was a legendary player, but good manager? Not so much. He also failed coaching Bayern Munich.

But yea, US soccer became infatuated with his legendary player status, gave him the keys, and the rest is history!
