It's true, they do suck horse balls.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Momma club releases bizarre kit:

What the Irish would call a tinkers shirt.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Toronto's new signing is single handedly shitting on blue team tonight. Two world class goals (panenka on a penalty kick and then chipped Sean Johnson into the upper 90) and Toronto up 3x0.

I expected Toronto to fold this year after losing giovinco, but this new guy is picking up where giovinco left off.

I take no issue with the ranking of the food, bathrooms, and any other amenities. However, 18th in atmosphere is pretty harsh. That place has been rocking for big games the past 3 seasons and I find it hard to believe there are 17 ballparks in baseball that boast a better atmosphere than the 30-40k the Yanks draw every night. The Stadium atmosphere is not what it once was, but its still in the top third of baseball.

So the Yankees went to London, à la Yankee Doodle, to play a couple of home games. This let NYCFC have the field for a 3 game home stand when you also throw in the break for the MLB all-star game. I don't know what to make out of it. My guess is that the Yankees want to increase the merchandising of their brand around the world, and this might be the start of an annual series abroad for them.

They were Red Sox home games.,

You can tell that I did not watch the games except for a few seconds here and there. What fooled me was that the Yankees wore their home uniforms.

The Red Sox gave up two home games and were the home team and batted last. Kind of dumb not to alternate home team.

The Red Sox also wore their home uniforms. Eons ago, for purposes of black and white TV, the home team had a white background on their uniform, the visiting team had a grey (England spells it grEy, America spells it grAy) background. That is not necessary any more as black and white tvs no longer exist.

The rules did not adapt to English ways and circle the bases clockwise (going to left). Must have confused the fans.

Did the fans throw back foul balls?

Was there a scoreboard to see soccer results?

Did they sing "God Bless America" during the 7th inning stretch? Maybe they had a Boston Tea Party instead?

MLB wants to grow the sport. The Yankees and Red Sox happened to be the ones invited to the first London series, which was a good call. You want to show off your crown jewel rivalry. Dont expect an annual series abroad for them anytime soon. MLB has been playing games in different countries for years now (Japan, Australia, Mexico, etc.), been quite a while since the Yanks have participated.
