Also off topic, I met Gideon Baah after the match, seemed to be in fine spirits.

That's the second time I've heard someone report that he is still around. I thought we let him go.

Fuck the right wing.

He's on the season ending injury list. I think that means he doesn't count against the cap for the year.

That's why I recognized that guy on the concourse!
Also said hi to Manny Schellschitt former? Seton Hall and Sacha coach
Yes great to create with them. Would be interested to see 4222 with younger guys st some point
Adams to Leipzig. Wouldn't surprise me at some point in the next 1-1.5 yrs. who wouldn't take playing for high level BDL club

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

So technically we can still have him on the team next year? Interesting. Here's to his recovery then.

Well, easy win although I'd say our most perfect performance was still against DC last week.

Either way I think we're the best team in the league now...  The formation suits us, but I think we're even better than last year given Muyl is improving and Adams covers so much ground compared to Dax.  THrow in how good Long has been as well.  Make the playoffs and hope guys perform when it matters most.

Royer was a weapon in the first half... The guy wins every header and on top of that, he usually puts the ball in a good spot for either Sacha or BWP.  Royer and Muyl are just so good defensively and with all of the little things.  Now that Muyl's passing looks a bit better, he's changed things too.

But right now, nobody should want to play us... We are just good. We'll still lose a game here and there because we struggle to finish, or even the other team will get lucky, but I do think we'll challenge for the SS again.

Looks like everything is starting to fall into place now. Royer had his best game so far (even ignoring the goal), we found a PK taker, Collin is officially back in form, Adams Ettiene, and Muyl are growing stronger with each game, Lade was pretty good and will only get stronger with more minutes.

Columbus is a good team. I think the weird start certainly worked in our favor but take nothing away. That was a hard fought victory. Next week will be a great "emotional" test for the team. Interested to see how we respond.

My wishlist now is still to go out and get a great CB because we are an injury away from that backline being in trouble. Also want to see Veron, Davis, and Gully round into form.

Pray for good health and we look playoff bound again. Still need to show that we can consistently get clean sheets and break bunkering teams.

Maybe add learning to take a shot from outside the 6 should be added to your wish list (possibly under the category of breaking bunkering teams).

Love the anger on the Robles yellow, but I get it. Robles is an ELITE time waster. Always been a fan of that aspect of his game. Referee wanted to nip that in the bud. While the ref's obsession with the clock was bizarre, I suspect he lost his parents in a terrible time wasting accident. Have some respect.

It's annoying because referees rarely if ever "nip it in the bud" when it happens against us. On the rare occasions a yellow does come out for an opposing goalie, it's never at the first time of asking or as early as the 60th minute.

In terms of depth now we need a CB more, but man it sucks that RB is the only position group we have where I feel like we are average compared to the league.  They have tried to fill the position and I do not expect them to sign another RB, but its kinda annoying from a "I want the Cup" perspective.  They are approaching the replacement level deadline to get someone in for Baah's cap charge so will be interesting to see what they do.  If they don't sign one, it probably means there is some USL guy or Kemar that they really feel comfortable playing at CB.

Offensively we are still inefficient, but at this point have enough pieces that Jesse can make impact subs for once in a game/series.

Honestly i think Lade is good enough at RB. Hes not a world beater but hes really good and still is improving every game. plus for his size he takes a beating and can dish it out too. Sometimes consistency is what is the key to winning.

I agree that he is good enough to win a Cup with, but in general we have been good enough to win the Cup for the last 5 years imo.  So any improvement in the squad increases the margin of error we have when we ultimately underperform in the playoffs.

If Lade can stay healthy I think he's actually a very good RB. History hasn't been kind though and usually players with an injury history continue to get injured. Just have to hope he's the exception and not the rule. I feel the same way about him as I do about Veron. One more major injury and unfortunately I think it's time to move on.

Lade isn't the reason we can't win a cup.

I want Murillo in there, Hamlett even said that he's here as a RB. He's massive, he'll dish out more than he'll take, and he can serve in a cross.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

I think Lade should be the guy outside of Murillo being amazing.  Lade adds to the team's heart when he's on the field.  You need guys like that... It just feeds the rest of the team.

i want the player in the best form at RB on the field with a good back-up.   :D

Lade's been good and brings heart. Murillo has potential - let him develop and win the job.
