Didn't he play out wide fairly often for San Lorenzo? I thought I remember the scouting reports saying he's played both winger and supporting striker when he joined us but I didn't follow a second of his career in Argentina.

News to me.  I recall #9 or #10 talk.

ATL's villalba was the guy that started ahead of veron when both were at CASLA.

He was brought in to play opposite Sam and then Grella made it so Marsch couldn't bench him. Veron played almost exclusively on the wing in 2015 IIRC.

Veron is 27 years old.  He is at or approaching the age where players begin to decline.  Veron is just not that good and never has been.  Looking at these players Atlanta brought in just goes to show that it has nothing to do with his age or his time to adapt.  His lack of production has to do with the fact that he simply is not very good.  But hey, he can run fast like Khano Smith.

Basically a hasbeen that never was..

Regardless of who is here, Veron finds ways of avoiding the field.

It's bad luck, but it's still the luck he has.  And that sucks...  We should have moved on after last season.  Some people are just jinxed or it's not meant to be.

Find it funny though that he's going to Argentina to get a doc's opinion when people usually leave every country in the world to come here for treatment...

That's why I actually think he's down there for more than just a medical treatment.

Might be time to move on.

Is there any in this rout with authority to treat with me? Or indeed with wit to understand me?

Sounds like more then a medical consult - we'll see

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here to point out that it might be cheaper for him seek treatment outside the US. I know many immigrants that visit their home countries for cheaper medical and dental procedures, my dad included.

Fuck the right wing.

But Daddy Red Bull spares no expense!

I don't think Veron has to worry about costs. This is either a matter of him preferring a specific doctor or specialist back home OR he's about to move.
