We wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that our Sporting Director Ali Curtis, Head Coach Jesse Marsch and General Manager Marc de Grandpre will be available to discuss and answer any questions that you have about the team, and recent staffing changes, in a Town Hall setting at Red Bull Arena on Friday, January 16, at 7:30 PM.
Your passion and support for the team is very important to us, and we understand your reaction to the decisions made this week. We value your opinions and want to give you the chance to voice them, as well as ask the questions that you are looking to get answers to. This forum will provide you a chance to speak directly with Ali, Jesse and Marc. We truly appreciate your support, and we look forward to having an open conversation with you to discuss your concerns, while sharing more details about our vision for the club heading into our 20th season together.
The event will be open to 300 season ticket holders, one per account, on a first come first served basis. You will be able to RSVP to the event through a link coming out on Monday, January 12.
Sincerely,
New York Red Bulls

Let's take advantage of this opportunity to voice our opinions.
Sometimes I think the entire Red Bull existence has been some 19 year old kids football manager save file he only plays when he comes home drunk. - 'Mibabalou'

I think Red Bull is realizing that they've just lost a large chunk of their fanbase.

What's the point of this town hall ? All you're going to get is plenty of canned answers and corporate doubletalk

Give them credit for setting this up. It could get ugly, though.

Even if I was one of the 300 people chosen, I wouldn't be able to go. But, I am hoping that we get some good smartphone footage uploaded here. Would LOVE to see how they respond to what are certain to be very, very tough questions from very hurt and angry fans.

If only we can get Petke involved somehow.....
I want a copy of Ali's 300 page plan.

PLEASE THINK CRITICALLY:
They're not going to waltz in there and speak off-the-cuff. You can be damn sure their message is going to be carefully premeditated and crafted by a team of PR executives. Do NOT let yourself get trapped with their gaslighting and spinning of the situation. Don't drink the Red Bull-infused koolaid they're going to try to sell you.
At the same time, do NOT come off as some drunk idiot ranting. Be very clear in your message, and be very critical and unforgiving. But save the, "fuck you Curtis you fucker" and such to the message boards. Nobody's going to take you seriously if you sound like a rambling child throwing a tantrum. Make it clear that what they did is utterly embarrassing and irreparably unforgiving. But say so in a way that they have no choice but to take the message seriously.

I'm going to try to go, but I doubt I'll be able to. I'll throw my name in the hat and see what happens.
If you get selected: BOO, HISS, YELL, CHANT, DON'T LET THEM GET A WORD EDGE WISE. Sing songs about Petke. Fuck Curtis. Fuck DeGranpre. Fuck Marsch. They know they've fucked up. Don't hold back now.
Oh, and also record it and upload to YouTube.

This 100%. Save the f bombing and sandbagging for the boards...you want to give them a piece of your mind do it respectfully and professionally. The only way to get any headway with these guys and make them more likely to meet you halfway is to act with dignity. They need to be more transparent with what this so called vision is...what the milestones and timing are, etc. The tailgate party ranting should stay in the parking lot.
