How quickly does he get one of our players sent off?

Got himself sent off in the Canadian Cup 1st leg.
Will still be available in MLS matches.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

No changes, no suspensions due to YCs. 18 should be the same, unless you switch out White for Abang, I still think that's a bit early for that.

This is a game where we hopefully only need to trot out BWP for 60 mins so its full stream ahead for smurfs wednesday.  Cross country travel for midweek game back on the east coast is really tough, and couple that with turf.

I'd be fine with BWP on the bench in this one. Rest him early on in the stretch of games, especially with NYCFC and DC coming up on short rest after. Also rest him vs Houston at home. Full games the rest of the way.

Feel like this is one of those games where you're happy to walk away with a point. Cross country game with another midweek game after is a tough one. Vancouver just beat Portland away and have some dangerous players including Davies. Hopefully Ivan starts and can be that missing piece we were needed.

I was thinking this during last night's game too because Kaku has lost his temper a few times recently. There's enough guys left on the team who know Felipe to let him know what to expect, hope he keeps his cool.

Little bit worried about this game, Vancouver has looked strong on the counter whenever I've watched them recently and that's usually our achilles heel

Agree
If there is a game to play for a draw and switch lineups its this one. Need to rotate this stretch especially with the 4 game stretch after this

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Brutal stretch of games begins here. Armas is gonna have to figure out an effective way to spread minutes around.

Vancouver is gonna be tough. Long away trip and terrible turf. But they are not a great team this year. They love to play long balls into Kamara so Long and Parker will be tested in the air. Alphonso Davies is also a big threat with his speed.

If there is a game to play for a draw

IMO, this is a winnable game and we should go for the three points. VAN has played better recently, but are still 19th at home(19 pts in 11 games), while RB has been playing well on the road (also 19 in 11). They average 2 goals at home, so we should not sit back and expect or play for a low-scoring draw. VAN also sit behind RSL for the final playoff spot, and a win would help Petke.

ATM, we are second in MLS on points, first in PPG, first in goals, first in GA.

No doubt, the NYC game is a 6-pointer, but we can and should definitely go after VAN in the opening half.
I agree that the turf may be a problem, but I am sure that BWP will decide if he is up for it, and for how long.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I'd let BWP come off the bench and start Etienne on the left. I can't inagine that Ivan is 90 minute fit at this point.

There is no way in hell I start Connor lade at right back matched up against Alphonso Davies. Start Murillo and Muyl.
