This may be more of a RBNY thing than an MLS thing. Recent management has been very intentional about keeping preseason under wraps, I guess not to tip their hand to how they intend to play this season?

I've also heard that preseason streams get like, 100 viewers so many MLS teams stopped bothering.

haha everyone knows how the Red Bulls play... PRESS PRESS PRESS PRESS! Nothing to hide. I don't care if they don't stream but they could at least do a weekly update on who's doing well, injuries, etc.

Here's hoping Nocita is a super legit defensive organizer that we can call The Admiral.

EDIT: Commander works, @Speedball. As long as we say it "co-mann-durr" like Deanna Troi. But I think thats the rank usually carried by "captains" so it may be a curse that we lose him for magic beans.

David Robinson was The Admiral, Nocita is The Commander!

"They better keep playing that RB Arena update because that unbuilt stadium is the only positive thing about this soft-drink-selling, coached-by-a-dumbass, trading-good-players-for-shit, hopeless, retarded, club." - MetroFanatic

"It was always six weeks away. Every month, [Nick Sakiewicz] would say, we're six weeks away from the stadium. It's been the longest six weeks of my life." - Mike Petke

"I think every country can learn everything about each other. If the whole world can be together, it can be good." - Mathias Jorgensen

almost all teams dont stream anymore the cost outweighs the benefit. Less about teams wanting to be secret and more just the overall effort is a lot for little reward. Its not a league thing just a team thing

Steaming could cost money.

The cheapest way to do it would be to record the game on a phone and upload it to the site at the end of day. The quality would be fine

Sure upload footage recorded on a phone and the level of complaints would be impressive

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

They did stuff like that during the petke era. I dont recall anyone complaining.

It was not ideal but we got to see the guys play.i think you get more complaints when we cant see the team play. It shows no effort is being made by the organization.

Bogert:

I’m still expecting the New York Red Bulls to make a starting-level addition in central defense after Aaron Long departed in free agency for LAFC.

Well that's notable. Bogert knows what's going on.
