Hamlett's hits since Jesse left:

2019: Trades 100K to move up to take Roy Boateng... and Sean Nealis. (Nealis is the one silver lining in this pile of feces.) Drafts Janos Loebe in the first round. Trades Amando Moreno for Rece Buckmaster. Drafts three more players, one of whom immediately retires.

2020: Trades 100K to move up to take Patrick Seagrist... the pick directly before (and the one directly after) were traded for 75K. Drafts Cherif Diaye in the first round. Takes five more players, who spend minimal time with RBNY II.

2021: Drafts Luther Archimede in the first round. Lamine Conte gets taken in the second, and misses the whole year with visa issues. On the other hand, AJ Marcucci, 67th overall, looks like a steal.

2022: Trades 200K for Matt Nocita, who isn't allowed to play (yet). Trades 75K for O'Vonte Mullings. Drafts a player who decided to stay a school and a goalkeeper who looks to be 4th on the RBNY II pecking order.

It's not the draft that is the problem, it's Hamlett.

Some teams have done worse, some have done better. It might be that hitting on Nealis and possibly on Marcucci somehow puts his moves above average... if not for all the money wasted to move up.

In comparison, we spent $675k in GAM to get Caden Clark back on loan and he may be leaving in the summer...

RBNY is not good at the GAM game.

Good. We need him to play a few games. Our defense is gassed. No reason why a guy like higuain, who is slow like molasses, should be running faster than you.

Hes not going to start on the first team. Missing Reyes right now, the CBs are two unathletic guys (Edwards, Nealis) and another coming off a major injury in Long.

Starters are gassed. He is currently needed to play 1 game. nealis, edwards and long look exhausted. He will also be needed to play 1 game in august when we have another crazy congestion of games.

If you run the starters to the ground we will start to see leg injuries

He has not had a single training session, you cant just throw him in there. They have to survive the next two matches (USOC and vs. DC on Saturday) with what they have, then they get the international break.

Monzon is unviable and often injured, Reyes is out. They really need a 5th CB that is first team ready, Edwards has done a nice job filling in, but hes only on loan and isnt a traditional CB.

Too many injuries at positions that dont have the depth to cover for them.

You can throw him in there for a game.

I rather sacrifice a game then lose Edward's or long to a season ending injury by overplaying them. That is the risk the team is taking by playing them soo much.

The team is gassed.

Is he even with the team?

Toss any random player from RB2 in there over a guy who hasn't even dropped his stuff off in the locker room yet.

The people on this board are more familiar with other players and tactics than this guy.

These players are used to playing Championship 2x per week for 30 weeks + other tournaments.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

For those of you with nothing better to do:

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

They should send Nocita to RBNY II Tampa Bay for a couple of months.
