better off bringing in Jessie.

Another big-shot European coach?
😁

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Tab Ramos should have been the coach after the debacle in Trinidad. But now more than ever, after the debacle with Gregg, Tab DEFINITELY needs to be the coach.

The team absolutely blows and Berhalter is a joke of a coach at this level.

They would be better off bringing in Jessie.

Jesse shouldn't consider coaching the USMNT for years! Let him have a good run at Salzburg to build up his cred. Then he'll move to either Leipzig or another Bundesliga club not affiliated with RB, or a Premier League club. Let him prove himself in Europe over a number of years. If he were to leave for the Nats now there's a lot of potential downside (fail to qualify for 2022, qualify but bomb in the group stage, lose a few Gold Cups), and lesser upside (win a Gold Cup (expected), qualify for 2022 (expected), get out of the group stage (expected). Failure with the USMNT in the near time will render him an MLS manager for the rest of his life.

Home championship in 2026 is literally once in a lifetime opportunity.

Both Berhalter and the team will be better when more starters are available (Adams) and fitter (Pulisic), but not being able to do better against Canada even with a less than 100% squad is not a very promising sign.

3-0 in Orlando at the half.
Morris in the 2nd, Zardes 23rd,
then Long 34th from a Ream free kick!

Canada pulled one back, but Zardes 89th 4-1.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

USA score in first minute, up 3-0 at the half.
Morris poached a goal from Long.
This is the way we should have played @ T&T.

Final 4-0. We win our group.
Next match: semi-final v. Honduras in June.

Although I think that Jackson Yuell has looked pretty good, I can't believe that a 2 year pro playing for the SJ Earthquakes is better than Morales, who's been a pro for 10 years and has established himself as a decent Bundesliga player.  In an absolute must win game, I can't see how Yuell starts over Morales, especially when Yuell had started 4 days earlier against Canada.

If they can all get healthy at the same time, a central midfield of Adams, Morales and McKennie might be the way to go.
