Why no updates from last season?
1. Writing about last year pisses me the fuck off. I was at the Legion 1908 Invitational Bottle Throw, so yeah, I should probably get that down at some point. But...I get too fucking angry writing about it. I suppose I'll get to it at some point, but blogging about it pissed me off for days afterwards. I don't think you guys are over it, either. Writing about sad things, I was able to sit down and at least get something down. Writing while angry really takes it out of me.
2. I don't want to come out and say "Write stuff for me when I wasn't there or I got it wrong," but...once again, I have no idea what Tookie-tookie-too means. This is supposed to be like the Doomsday Book - an ongoing effort. The Riot Squad won't stop if I get hit by a peach truck, after all.
3. One of the big events of last year - The Los Angeles Riot Squad Clothing Company - coincides with what I believe is an ongoing legal issue, and therefore writing about it publicly at this point would be Teh Stupid. When that's resolved, I'm sure we'll all have some fun with it.
4. Please, sweet Jesus, don't fucking make me write about the First XI, I mean, what have I ever done to you?
5. I can be a remarkably lazy person at times.
For all these, I offer this unsatisfying and passive-aggressive apology.

No worries, my friend. Now, I'm assuming someone(s) contacted you and demanded you update this ?
This was not MY intent.
Well, I get your point. Perhaps, we look back at the one thread regarding "Season in Review", such as jousting, BRB, road trips, etc. Perhaps a "wiki" of sorts ? Compile some of those stories/topics into the 2007 chapter ?
Don't know. Thoughts ?

Sounds like a lot good times. Can't wait to join in on some of them.

I'm a sentimentalist...
Last year, about this time...
Not sure if i should start a different thread, but I love looking through the "old" shit...

I totally agree. I printed the LARS logo in black and white and printed this one picture in color and glossy and framed them together.
p.s.-By the way there is a handsome gentleman if you look in the upper right hand corner of the picture in a yellow Galaxy jersey in front of old stars and stripes.

There's a handsome gentleman in this picture? I seriously doubt that.
Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

Exactly. I wasn't there.
