Multi-year with a substantial pay raise.

I wish I knew when people's contracts were up.

Great news!

Glad now that even if we lose him, we'll probably get a fee.

I know a lot of us were so focused (and worried) about losing Miazga for obvious reasons but I was just as worried, if not more, about losing Kemar. This contract extension is fantastic news. He had two outstanding tournaments last year for Jamaica when there are new sets of eyes on him that aren't always there when he's playing for us. I thought for sure some team would come calling for his services soon, just like Miazga. So while it still sucks to lose Miazga, keeping Taxi softens the blow.

Will be interesting to see how he fares this season. Once the flag drops I expect him to pickup and match his form from before he dropped off. Off the field he seems like a good guy with no checkered past. Hail to our left back for the forseeable future. Taxi.

anyone think if he keeps playing really well, Red Bull decides to cash in and sell him for a nice transfer fee?

wouldn't surprise me that taxi's gone after this season. imagine if both taxi and miazga were sold during this past xfer window?

what would've the defense looked like?

-Lade-Baah-Ouimette-Duvall-

YIKES.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

Yeah, I think we locked him up just to avoid the Miazga situation, so we can have a bit more leverage in selling him in the offseason (/summer?).

If he has another big tournament this summer at Copa america, you'd have to believe that he would be gone ASAP
