Terrence Boyd.
Articles out today that Red Bull Liepzig are open to sell him soon. Would make sense to synergy his way to us and finally give the team a legitimate different attacking option from just having BWP up top.

Too bad MLS Mickey Mouse rules trumps synergy.
Yeah I'd imagine he'd have to go into the allocation order, which we won't be near the top of.

Not if we rebadge ourselves as the Galaxy...
we need another guy who is like Royer or better. a winger who can provide what Royer does on the right side and can provide enough defense like Muyl. he'll be just as expensive as Royer or pricier.

Whats the precedent for that? Is there a rule or example to link us to?
I think we'll give in and get a noteworthy DP in 2017. Might not come until summer though.
We should have plenty of space on the payroll. 2015 max salary hit for a DP was $457,500, expect that to increase next season (plus modest overall cap increase)
Pay down Sacha with TAM/GAM
Pay down Collin with TAM/GAM
Dax is right on the cusp, but should be fine
Veron either starts or leaves the team, but he's on 500k and could be paid down, freeing up a DP slot
Give BWP a raise
We have one free DP slot, but we could have 2 if we really wanted to.
We need a star player to give us a sharper edge in the playoffs.

I hate to say it, but I wonder if trading Dax is the way to go here. He turns 30 early next season. Sean Davis is ready to take on a bigger role and Tyler Adams can assume the bench role. He has a big cap hit and could be swapped for a healthy dose of Garber Bucks.
I lean towards not doing this, but I think it's something that has to at least be considered and explored.
Salary cap is supposed to go up a few hundred thousand each year too, on top of TAM/GAM/whatever
Salaries usually account for that and also tend to go up year over year, often by a faster pace than the cap.

I don't want to see it, but I think we'll lose him to Orlando sometime in the next few years. Now might be as good of a time as ever
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.
