At least it should be obvious to the people in charge what the priority of the winter window should be.

This team has had a very good/elite defense even while missing their best CB, and having multiple defenders injured during the season.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

If you take into account new signings this off-season/current year across MLS...

Brian White ($400k GAM)
Luciano Acosta ($3 million)
Djordje Mihailovic ($1 million GAM)

Hindsight is 20/20, but compare the output of those three guys the the combined $6 million it cost in actual cash/GAM to acquire Klimala and Amaya.

Insane that we actually have a positive goal differential cause we never lose by more than one goal either. I still think Struber's attacking tactics stink but a little more talent would have safely pushed us over the playoff line.

We play with 6 or 7 defenders on the field. Any tactical shift for more offense would diminish that "good/elite" defense.

Meanwhile, Brian White has a hat-trick tonight.

9 goals, all from play, in 20 games. That's not so shabby. To think Struber started Barlow over him in play-offs, then Thelwell dumped him. Not that he would be a savior or anything like that, but he has outperformed our strikers so far, which are far costlier.

Brian White also has a midfield. RBNY top two in assists are Fabio and Klimala. Clark, Davis, and CCJ have the most from the midfield all tied with 2. Thats pretty telling when MLS counts the hockey assist, unlike most, if not all, other leagues.

Brian White has 5 goals in his last 4 games.

I would like to see a video of his goals & assists.
His 11 total is T17 in MLS with Pryzbylko & Nani.
Klimala leads us with 7, T-27th with 15 others,
and IIRC a couple of his are PKs.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

It's quite easy to see on the MLS website: https://www.mlssocce...an-white/video/

Actually, it was quite difficult to get to this page.

In his hat trick, he had a clean-up shot off the goalkeeper's save (he provided the assist for the initial shot), and 2 headers off set pieces.

I think that page has all his goals from the season, but unfortunately they're all scattered in separate videos.  Not compiled.
