Mike Piazza, Italian Soccer Owner?

it sounds like a long shot, but I think its kind of cool from the perspective of general soccer visibility in the media, especially the NY media. 

 

Piazza will most likely get into the Hall of Fame within a year or two, and if he does buy Parma, that will be in the news every time he is brought up.  

 

One more obstacle for sports talk radio hosts who wish soccer didn't exist.

Mike Piazza represented Italy in the 2008 World Baseball Classic. That wasn't cool.

DIdn't he coach Italy?  

I'm the world's biggest Piazza fan, and if this goes through, will apparently be the world's biggest Parma fan.
