Great win last night against a awful Hartford team, hope they get better when they return home. If not they gotta think about adding these teams in League 1 first then see if they can make the step up (pro/rel but that's for another time...)

Nice to see Ryan in net, great as always, would have 100% faith in him if we needed for robles.

Rito is surprising me, speed, aggression driving forward, dribbling, cant say much about his D against players at this level but maybe a cup chance.

Duncan at LB was fine, but again Hartford is trash.

Barlow keeps scoring, if he can get 20+ on the year he must get a MLS chance at some point.

We move to top of east playing 16th place Louden United (DC2) at home on saturday.

With both teams playing its harder to guess, less first team guys.

Pointless guess

Barlow

Epps/DE7/Ivan - Stroud - Mines

Koffi - Lema

Duncan - Nealis - Scarlett - Rito

At this point Barlow is a more finished product than Jorgenson. He's agrressive, strong, quick and is finishing most of his chances. Hell, if BWP doesn't wake up  I wouldn't have a problem playing him on the first team sooner than later. Stroud also looks like he'll be on the first team in the next season or so. Finally what that hell happened to DE7?!?

I have the same question re; DE7 , he didn't do much in the first half but came out very active in the 2nd half , he was involved in the first 3 RB goals , scoring the 3rd.

Sounds like this version of the baby Bulls is very VERY good.

How many chances is he getting per game? It sound like a lot. At the MLS level he may only see 1-2 good chances a game. Sometimes only a half chance. Do you have faith that he can convert in those circumstances?

Jorgensen off a great pass from debut player, Janos Loebe. 1-0 a few minutes in.

Mind you, Loudoun scored 1 goal in its first 4 matches.

...and we are tied at 1. Our defense looking very poor early on, especially Nealis.

Down 2-1. On a ball bouncing around in the box. Oooff. Our defense is struggling.

Blatant handball in the box, no PK...

As a reminder, the league that launched VAR no longer uses it...

No idea why Amarildo is still on the field. The guy has no idea where to be on the field at any point thus far. Not sure if he's even touched the ball.

EDIT: Barlow in for useless Amarildo in 56th

EDIT: Now 3-1. Safe to say Nealis and Buckmaster wont be seeing MLS time anytime soon. Officiating is poor which doesnt help. All you have to do is lay down near the ball and a foul is being called.

Final 3-1. Calle Brown was HUGE for Scum Jrs. Made two great saves at the end of the match (both off Barlow shots). 6 or 7 saves throughout the match.

A bit about Jorgensen once Barlow came on:

Jorgensen about two feet from a ball in the 6 yard box. Didn't even try to get a piece of it.

Then pokes a ball that Barlow clearly could have scored on off a cross.

Then runs into Barlow and knocks both players over.

Has time to shoot and keeps dribbling, over and over.

It's almost as if Jorgensen would rather compete with Barlow than play together.

Barlow > Jorgensen

Outside of the Jorgensen goal, there is no question as to why White is getting first team time.
