I know they cleaned that stadium up, but it still stinks.

This has "trap game" written all over it.
Thought Montreal may have been a trap game, but it fell into our hands!
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
As Brian.mls wrote in the results watch thread - a win at TFC wins us the east, and knocks every team but Dallas and SKC out of the Shield race.
Even a draw wins the Eastern conference...
Two wins in 3 games wins the Shield, hopefully the team smells the blood in the water.
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
Its not a trap game at all. Trap games are when you have a team you should beat, sandwiched between big games. Tornot is a goo dteam (crazy, huh?) and both Philly and Chicago following suck. But a win at Philly, which would almost certainly have big significance, and playoffs following Chicago, could make Chicago a trap game. And we've seen how that's gone recently.

The sorrow inside me grows.
I need my plaid pitch.

Great opportunity to pick up points on the road...no jozy, bradley or giovinco
If all three are missing then 3 points are a must! The only excuse for a draw would be if Toronto bunkers the entire game and I don't see that happening.
I don't want us relying on getting points at Chicago...get the six at Toronto and at home against Philly...wrap this up before the end of the season so that the team can focus on planning for the 5 games in November/December to get the Cup...
I did not realize the big 3 at Toronto were out. Seriously no excuses for not getting a tie there - but we should get a win.
Giovinco will be out, but I strongly doubt that Bradley and Jozy stay with the National Team for the Costa Rica match. Fully expect them to be released.
If we win this one, then I am about 80% certain we win the Shield at home against Philly, then victory lap at Chicago. There's a magic that happened two seasons ago at the Shield game, these guys live for the opportunity to win silverware at home. Seemed at some point that they were just straight up having fun putting the hurt on Chicago.
Knowing we've got Dax at the helm, I can't see it going any other way.

Do we always play them on International breaks? I think this is the second time this year we miss those three players.
This from the Toronto FC website dated 10/3:
Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley and forward Jozy Altidore were named to United States Head Coach Jürgen Klinsmann’s 23-man roster for the playoff match against Mexico for a spot in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and a friendly match against Costa Rica. The U.S. will meet Mexico on Saturday, October 10 (9:30 p.m. ET) at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California and Costa Rica on Tuesday, October 13 (6:30 p.m. ET) at Red Bull Arena, Harrison, N.J.

Giovinco will miss the game...I would be surprised if Bradley and Altidore aren't back, but might not matter...they might be emotional and physically drained after Saturday's game that the quick turnaround to play Wednesday means they likely won't be at 100%...
