which last occurred in 2006.
Arsenal, Chelsea, ManC & ManU have advanced. Semifinals: MU-Chelsea, ARS-MC
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

If the ManC CL ban is upheld on appeal, 5th place will earn a CL spot.
Citeh ban overturned:

Now the squeeze is really on for 3rd & 4th places.
Chelsea owe Bournemouth dinner for beating Leicester.
Can Southampton help by beating ManU today?

Amazing. Appeal, win the appeal, appeal the decision of that appeal, win again. What a disgrace.

Not directly PL related, but a very cool story. Wycombe were in 8th place when the season was paused, but leapt up to 3rd via points per game when the season was cancelled and playoff bracket was determined. They defeated Oxford in the playoff final yesterday, to win promotion to the Championship for the first time in their 133 year history.

Wycombe ... win promotion to the Championship
Great story for a club known more for cup runs.

The game replay is available on ESPN+.

Leeds will be playing in the next PL season.
Huddersfield 2-1 WBA means LUFC are 1st or 2nd.
The WBA loss also opens the door for Brentford, who have never been in the PL, to move into an auto promotion spot.
Millwall is also challenging for the final playoff spot, who have never been in the PL.
There could be a lot of new blood in the PL next season. Kind of cool to see.

West Ham beats Watford 3-1, all but cementing their survival. Final 2 relegation spots are down to a 3 horse race of Watford, Villa and Bournemouth, with Watford having the 3 point advantage (though their final 2 games are brutally tough).

Tough schedule for Watford, I fancy Bournemouth to edge the last spot, maybe on GD by a goal.West Ham beats Watford 3-1, all but cementing their survival.
