Cruel in midfield:

Interesting, I guess DLC is thinking of using Pappa in the middle.

I was under the assumption that we had enough midfielders. Guess I was wrong. I'm guessing this may be a clue that he's going with the 3-5-2?

It has been apparent to me that Cobos will use the 3-5-2, but I expect we will also see a 3-4-3, a 4-4-2, and a 4-1-4-1, since Cobos actually plans to adjust tactics in game and fashion tactics to his opponents style. Krol playing in midfield shows me that Cobos is testing out players in positions that they can switch to, so while the Fire may start with a 4-4-2, Krol may move into midfield switching the formation to a 3-5-2, in any case I think Klopas got Krol because Krol was a dynamic offensive defender, a guy that loves to get forward, by playing him at mid in preseason they can get him more time on the ball moving at goal.

I think dlc realized how useless mapp is defensively. So nobody ever put sega as wb in fifa? I also replaced pause with conde.
I wouldnt read too much into it, its just preseason and its not like we have a massive roster.
"Dave Checketts and SCP Worldwide partners Dean Howes, Kenneth Munoz, Michael McCarthy and Chris Bevilacqua, chose Real Salt Lake for the team's name because they desired to associate the team with a successful soccer club, and "Fire" was already taken."

Apparently Collins John has already scored :)

chifiresoccer: First Fire corner of the game. Baptista with the service. Partially cleared Collins John with the goal!

chifiresoccer: Collins John with a powerful right foot into the back of the net, far post. Fire lead 1-0.
