Fingers crossed for Karl Ouimette (about equally as likely)

My concern with the roster is who is going to score from the #9 position? Sargent plays mostly winger, Ferreira has been cold for over a month, and Wright I have not seen much from. I would have brought in Pepi who has contributed to the WC cycle and is currently in form, even if its in the Dutch league.

No one is. Our strikers scored 4 goals in 14 qualifiers. Our goals come from set pieces and wingers.

Has anyone ever seen Struber and Berhalter in the same room?

can't say Berhalter only goes with his guys
not taking his guys in Steffan, Arriola and Pepi.  I think he made the right decision as think Steffan is good for 1 gaff every few games, Arriola I like but I like Morris more especially as a vertical threat and can play winger/forward.
Feel bad for Arriola as that guy is a battler and had a good year at Dallas.

Interesting to hear he viewed it as Wright v Pefok and mostly Sargent v Pepi.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

True.  But at 24, it is possible, if not likely, that Trusty has improved over what he was a year or two ago.  While at 30, it is also possible, if not likely, that Long is declining from where he was a year or two ago.

I dont think this is how rosters are/should be picked.

We just missed the WC four years ago. I am so confused by what people expect from this team.... people suddenly treat the USMNT like they are rooting for Chelsea or Barcelona.

For me, I totally trust Long here. The dude has a singular purpose. I bet he individually wins us a game, either through a set piece goal or defensive heroics.

Lets get on the damn bandwagon! World Cup is in a week and half!

I definitely would like Arriola on the team. Last window, he came on the team looked different. Just energetic. He upped the rest of the team's tempo and young guys sometimes need others on the team to drive the pace.

Good point by Doyle and I head it made other places is team is healthy  for the most part

If you’re more hung up on who was picked at spots 21-26 than the fact that the guys in spots 1-20 are 90% healthy, you’re focused on the wrong thing.

But are McKennie and Dest 100% fit? Neither have been featuring for their respective clubs benches. Who knows if they have been training!

If McKennie can't go they have Aronson.

Dest - I don't think he was hurt just not playing.

Then why bring 4 RBs..outside of the Pepi omission, the 4 RBs called up is weird. Im hoping Dest is 100%. But you cant help to feel paranoid and perhaps the coaching staff choices being conservative. The National Team only having one LB in Robinson does put us in a hole. Especially with Dest playing both the starting RB and backup LB role.

Will Denmark train in white t-shirts?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I think Dest and Scally are back up Left Backs although Scally was not good last time out.

I am hoping Dest is 100% too.

Dest was definitely injured for Milan. I hope he's back fit soon.
